In many developing countries, poor people cannot afford even essential medicines. Imported brand-name pharmaceuticals are too expensive, and generic medicines are not available everywhere. Therefore, people turn to counterfeit drugs that are not only ineffective, but can even be harmful.

According to the world health Organisation (WHO), “essential medicines” are those that satisfy the priprity health needs of the people.

“Navjeevan Medicare Foundation” is concentrating on such needs of the poor people and also for avoiding such medicines which are improper for their health and which leads to Death because of their overuse. Here, poor people of the slum areas aremore in these slum areas and also in the Mumbai suburb Slums, because this diseases gets bigger day by day as they are alway from the treatment due to their lack of money.

Thus, this treatment is being provided free of cost at our ” Sahara Polyclinic And Health Care Centre” to the poor people of the slum areas, which is saving their lives and also they come to know about their diseases and illness by which they get it cured it time to time.

“Poor people deserve good quality medicines”, says Lembit Rago of the WHO. He emphasises that quality drugs are not only needed in the fight against malaria and other tropical diseases. They are needed to treat illnesses of all kinds. According to him, 70% of patients with mental disorders in low-income countries do not have access to adequate medicines. Producing inexpensive drugs is urgently needed – for body and mind.

Essential needs of day to day life’s medical needs are being covered in our “SAHARA POLYCLINIC AND HEALTHCARE CENTRE” for the poor people of the slum areas and hereby given free medical treatments to the one suffering from major illness.

These facilities are being provided by us since the year 2010, therefore many of the poor people have interacted with our “SAHARA POLYCLINIC AND HEALTHCARE CENTRE” now and their expectations from us is going on increasing day by day.

As the trust “NAVJEEVAN MEDICARE FOUNDATION” do not undergo, any source of income, we have only the support of our donors who come forward with their donations/financial support and fulfill the needs of the trust to work for the better conditions of the poor people and their family members.

Also, many of the people here do not know about which type of diseases he/she is suffering from due to avoidance of treatments just because they lack in monetary terms. Thus, in this way, such poor people are taking their health on grant due to lack of money. If we will be able to finish this thing, it will become a major/maximum support to the needful persons suffering from various types of diseases which can be cured easily and due to which these unnecessary deaths will become low.

If at home, some aged persons who cannot walk, if they fall ill, immediate treatments are given by the doctor who visits the place at free of charge.

Thus “NAVJEEVAN MEDICARE FOUNDATION” is contributing for the better health of the poor people, so that they also can live their life to the fullest. This process of providing good life and good health to the persons shall continue in the future too by the work and dedication by us and with the help of certain donors.
